Non-Brush, Monochromatic, Emotion Painting Reflection.
1. The good and strong parts of my tree painting is the backround, and the branches of the tree because the way i used the tools and paint.
2. I think i could of done my grapefruit better by the backround because i would have used a different color..
3. My themes of my paintings are hope and happy, because i represented hope with a tree and only one red leaf and i represented happy with the grapefruit because their good. I used hope for the tree because in life theres always hope in every situation, and mircles happen everyday.
4. The colors in my tree painting are black and white and red. My major color was black, i chose black because at first it shows depression but then the one red leaf represents hope.
5. The surface i did my paint on was canvus. The tools i used were a sponge for my backround and a colored pencil for the branches and the tree and i also used a wooden stick that was really sharp for my leaves.. The benefits and challenges were that it was very diffcult to find something small enough to work for my painting because at first i didnt know how to paint it.
6. What i learned from this project is that you dont just have to use a brush to paint you can use anything. Some life lessons that i leatned were that mircles happen everyday and dont doubt anything because theres hope in everything.
7. First i mixed the black and white together to get a grayey whitish blackish color and got a sponge and dabbed the backround, then i got a colored pencil and traced the tree and painted it with the color pencil, lastly i got a sharp wooden thing and painted the leaves. I had it all planned out and i had all the materials to paint it.
8. I think you should do this project next year it gives you a challange and because i liked choseing my own materials.
